Among other things, I think we are in total agreement here.

Rodney King was no martyr. He was drunk and belligerent, as far as use of
force is concerned, he probably deserved half of what he got. The total
smack down at the end was totally unnecessary, but the use of tasers and the
initial pain compliance techniques were justified use of force.

You might not have any respect for law enforcement agencies but that
doesn't' stop them from frowning on any acts by individual citizens taking
the law into their own hands. By and large, most departments do their job
adequately, but you don't hear about that. That's not exciting and doesn't
boost ratings. Its the glorified over-blown isolated incidents by a
minority of cops that grab all the media's attention. But does it make it
the truth?

I am well aware of that, but does not make it any less true in the real
world, but you've got more issues than that if you still think Iran Contra
was a blackmark of some sorts. but I say Semper Fi, we do not leave our
wounded on the field, and we will do whatever it takes to get them back.

Despite all your posturing otherwise to sound intelligent, the simple truth
is I would never even attempt to befriend the likes of you even if we met
simply for the fact that I am way out of your league :) Take that however
which way you might choose to :)
