yes sir. i have to throw in a cheer and reiterate what mr. purcell said.
wrecking ball is a must own album. don't think twice, it's ALL RIGHT, to
understate it.

last night i saw buddy and julie in chicago. it was beyond belief. buddy
is the most incredible guitarist. in my mind he rivals david rawlings as
far as talent and creativity, considering that their styles are completely
different. july miller is so silly and eccentric, and contagiously joyful.
'wrecking ball' includes an excellent rendition of j. millers' 'all my
tears', rivaled only by the version on harris' 'spyboy', which features
buddy miller. i'd also strongly recommend spyboy, although it is very
country. but keep in mind, as always with good music, the genre is
typically adulterated in at the level of pop. emmylou and buddy definitely
retain the beauty and feeling that country music potentially offers. don't
write off any genre too hastily. i am a recovering country music adversary.
i can no longer respond to the question, "what kind of music do you listen
to?" with, "everything but country."

and since i'm quoting bobby d. i'll go ahead and brag to you all about the
evening i have ahead of me. tonight i see bob dylan!
