Poll?

Hello...

Just wondering...did any other listee come to know and love OTR based on
a review they read?  I did.  True Tune News.  Eve had just been
released.  The writer painted this amazing picture of some band I had
barely heard of.  I thought, sounds good, what the heck, let me see if I
can get it.  

Off to Blockbuster I go.  I ordered it.  3 times.  Finally got it after
about 3 weeks or so (SO GLAD I didn't give up!)  Put it in the CD player
and was not quite prepared for what I heard.  I was hooked from the
breathy opening of Happy With Myself all the way to the undescribable
"hidden track" (which, by the way, is my favorite version of Bothered).  

Point being, reviews have introduced me to a lot of my current
favorites:  OTR, Victoria Williams, Lucinda Williams and the latest
Sinead Lohan.

Just wondering who else buys music based entirely on review...
