Okay, here's me going out on a limb:
When I listen to music that moves me, I often get light-headed, and I get
a feeling inside my chest and head like I'm dizzy and sometimes it feels
like my heart is going to pound out of my chest. Sometimes (less often)
if I cry, I feel true emotion--usually sadness, or sad revelation type
stuff.
I menioned all that, because although I do experience music deeply, I have
never had the type of experience that RandomRicky mentions above. I have
identified with the the message in the music, and I've been reassured that
something I've thought was mirrored or expressed by the singer. Is this
the same thing, because I can't remember feeling any kind of relief or
using the music to cope in some way. Am I in the minority with this, or
am I just rambling again and no one really even understands what I'm
talking about?
