dogs...

Before I praise my own beloved beasts, let me praise Kayli.  I've met Ysoie's dog.  We cuddled when I was passed out in the back of Ysoie's car once.  : )

I have 2 dogs--both shelter dogs, both mutts, and let me say that I wouldn't trade them for anything!

Ande is a terrier mix--she's small and orange, about 25 pounds.  She's the cutest dog ever, and she loves everyone.  How she ever ended up in a shelter is beyond me.  But I got lucky--I found her!

Foster is a shepherd/husky mix who's had a tough life--abandoned, hit by a bus, lived in a shelter while they nursed him back to health...  He's a little scared of strangers, but he has the best face!  Every emotion he feels is so vivid, so bright in his eyes.  He's a great watchdog and cuddlemate.

Regardless of what kind of dog you get, get a dog with personality!  And yes, please consider a shelter of some sort.  If you really want a certain breed, at least consider a breed-specific rescue to give a dog who needs it a great dog a home!

Coming out of what could have been my longest stretch ever without a post,
