Re: Christian music

I agree w/ you totally Wes. I'm just glad I didn't get kicked off the
message group for saying it ;)

there was definite pressure to

>just music that met a certian JPM threshold. JPM = Jesuses Per Minute).

Does OTR meet up to this??? :|

>- Just as sin affects all of humanity (including Christians), so does

YESSSSSSSSS This is what I'm trying to say!!

>In a sinful world, it's not always going to be roses and
>marshmallow bunnies!

Oh God tell me about it. The Christian college I went to was so happy, happy
it made we wanna puke. Give me some reality here!

>There are people
>within the Christian music industry who see their goal as setting up a
>sort of Christian music ghetto.

I agree - I recall people bragging "Paul McCartney said Phil Keaggy has a
nice voice" and people were all proud about it. As if it was a validation of
some kind. The guy's talented anyway, so what does it matter?

I'm interested in what the rest of the group has to say, as well.
