Re: I hope someday you'll join us...

Kevin,

Wow. Chills went up my spine as I had a VERY similar experience to what
you describe. When I was about 5 years old, an older (about 12) friend
and I were throwing small stones at each other (as all young, unattended
boys are COMPELLED to do) and my friend ran around the back of my
house.

To get a good angle, I went to the balcony overlooking the backyard,
about 15 feet off of the ground and he ran into a shed located in the
basement wall, directly underneath of the balcony. As I leaned over the
railing to get a good angle to throw a rock into the shed, I lost
balance and flipped over the railing.

I fell, upside down and should have landed on my head or upper back
first, but instead I felt my friend's arms break and slow my fall and my
landing was much more soft than it should have been had he not slowed me
down.

When I told my mother this later, she called him to thank him. He said
that he had never touched me, as he had just shut the door to the shed.

Guardian Angel?

I have a memory of something phenomenal like this also. It happened at
my
godparents house when I was around 4 or 5 . They had a tri level house
where
at one point in the hall upstairs the stairway to the basement was
right
below causing a two level drop with only a small railing between. I
remember
falling over the railing and suddenly, about 3 feet from hitting the
floor, I
stopped mid air and floated the rest of the way down landing on my feet

unharmed.
Not sure where the memory blurs but I never seemed to doubt the
experience as
a little kid because in early teens, thinking about it, for the life of
me I
couldn't remember if it was a very vivid dream or if it actually
happened.

Then there's the encounter with that alien that's just gotta have been
a
dream....

People say that everyone has a few skeletons in their closet, but I
don't.
Well, not yet anyway. I mean, the bodies are still decomposing.
