That's not a mistake on Amazon's part. Unlike American
companies who add sales tax (or value added tax, as the
Brits call it) AFTER the retail price is computed, EC
retailers add it BEFORE you go to the checkout. But
Americans do not have to pay EC VAT charges, so, once you
Amazon figures out you're american, it deducts the tax.
Thus, giving you a lower cost than what was on the advertisement.
