falling (death of a tree) et al

Good morning list,

*raises hand* um, I've got some Atlanta to share, and I've also volunteered
to burn for the Cornerstone tree. So if you haven't requested either and
would like both, let's save postage! E-mail me with your mailing address and
I would be glad to send them both to you (as soon as I get my hands on the
c-stone discs, that is).

My copy of Unsung came in Monday's mail, wrapped in a poster of some sort. I
haven't had a quiet moment in which to read it. Yet. Still hoping for
one...I want to give it a little more commitment than I do, say, the People
mag I devour each Friday. (Zena, I suspect that's why there hasn't been a
lot of discussion yet -- we're still taking it in.)

Favorite visual artist? Hmmm. That's a tough one. Peter Himmelman, who is
also one of my favorite musicians (and a BRILLIANT live performer) does some
really cool artwork... www.peterhimmelman.com
...and our dear friend Patrick is a brilliant photographer. Tells wonderful
stories: http://homepage.mac.com/jprkec/htrcover.html
(not exactly a plug -- when I looked at this particular photo story I wanted
to show it to the world because it's just beautiful.)

a little weak to dance,

Julie
