yay for mark rothko.

it's interesting that jessyka doesn't think in visual terms.  i do believe i 
think completely in visual terms.  words are often lost on me.


something interesting that i've noticed in town lately has to do with the 
current andy warhol exhibit at the LA moca.  i've noticed that people who, 
generally, have no interest or knowledge of art are talking about how they 
*have* to go see this exhibit.  i find it sort of amusing.  it's as though 
warhol is his own pop icon of pop icon pop art.  or something like that.

personally, i think he had a good point, but i don't really /enjoy/ his 
work.  still, maybe i'm required to trek over to the moca, too, and fulfill 
my duties as a citizen of pop culture.
