re 4-twain, etc.
Fort Wayne. 4 Twain. 2 2 2 2. 4 x 2 = 8.
So they could really just call it Eight for short.
Hi.
See, I remember when I was living in Upland and playing in a rock and roll band that to get to Eight for gigs at the Dash In and Columbia Street would take about an hour and a half. Now, that's to actually get to my destination in Eight. Getting to the edge of the city didn't take so long. And I also remember that if I was going to someplace south of the city, it didn't take nearly as long. Like, it seems like getting downtown took me 1.5 hours, but getting to TU Fort Wayne took a lot less time. But my memory is starting to go. Class of '96.
But this question has probably already been answered. Sorry . . . been skimming lately . . . busy writing.
Nathan's sister is among the Taylor grads living in my neighborhood. I saw her in the post office just the other day. "Hi," I said.
I'm not sure that story had a beginning middle and end. Short on rising action, mystifying in denoument.
But I did tell Ms. Schwartzendruber the short, slightly better developed story of my kicking the stamp machine one midnight. I didn't kick it hard or nothin'. It wouldn't take my money, and I thought "%$$#@ machine." But I didn't think "%$#@ machine!!!!!" See the difference? Anyway, I gave it an irritated toe tap. Bump. And then a huge freakin freak-me-out alarm went off, and all these lights started flashing. I thought some high security cage was gonna drop from the ceiling and hold me in. "Sir," the officers would say, "Did you . . . kick . . . the stamp machine? You're going away for a long, long time, sir." But instead of being trapped in a cage, I just left real quick-like. I watched for a minute from a distance, but no officers of the law pulled in, so, presumably, the lights were just for show.
I really don't kick things very often at all.
Where is my OtR content? I know it must be in there somewhere.
Hello. Gotta go.
