IIRC I remember reading in Livgren's biography that he got the idea from 
Native American mythology but it surely fits well with Ecclesiasties.

a couple unmentioned ones I can think of:

Steve Scott: Love in the Western World is titled after Denis De Rougemont's 
book of the same name and, after reading it, I realized a few of the tunes 
are also inspired by it.

Gentle Giant (band) gets its name and uses characters from Rabelais'  5 book 
set Gargantua and Pantagruel

Tonio K got his name from the Thomas Mann short story Tonio Kroger
