Question for Lord of the Rings readers
I had always
known that my brother read LotR as a child, but recently learned that he reads
them over again every year. It is an annual ritual for him. This struck me as
interesting and rather unique, but after reading through the posts of
influential books it seems as though its not all that unique. I noticed that
other LotR readers have also created their own rituals to re-read the books.
Having never read the books, this strikes me as both strange and interesting.
Could anyone help me understand why this ritual is so common among Lord of the
Rings readers?
