i found out i'm allergic to turkey

hey all (as well as to those who prefer not to be part of "all").

i haven't posted in decades, but i thought i'd do some pointless blathering, 
just to satisfy my own sense of self-importance, and to perpetuate the idea i 
currently have which posits there are thousands of people who hang on my 
every word (which naturally makes talking tedious, because the words are 
heavier).  and i don't want to hear anyone say any different (plugging my 
ears w/fingers, singing loudly)

i had a truly horrendous thanksgiving:  here's something to be thankful for, 
it only comes once a year.  

on a brighter note: do re mi fa so la ti do, a deer, a female deer, re--a 
drop of golden sun (edelweiss[sp?], edelweiss, you look happy to greet me, 
strong and white, edelweiss...blahblahblah).

my parents are moving at some point in time, so i drew the lucky straw this 
holiday and cleaned their house out of my stuff...or is it the other way 
around?  i dunno...  i found some swank poems and snappy pictures, but not 
much else; the things i thought would be full of memories turned out to be 
trashbag filler...

(scratching head)
i had hoped to go to the taft show, but my bosses have been playing cagey 
with me, holding cards close to their chest(s)...so alas, all i can do is 
croon mournfully to DKotY, drink some slightly warm beer and hope that 
tomorrow never dies (gratuitous 007 reference...so sue me)
