hello all...

if i remember the story correctly, i think linford said that the clock used
to reside at michael wilson's studio. apparently, somebody gave it to
michael as payment for something he had done for them. linford then
apparently saw the clock and told michael that he wanted it, but michael
said the guy only gave it to him to hold until he returned with actual
money. so, linford waited until this fella came back to retrieve his clock.
i think linford gave the guy $50 bucks and an old grandfather clock in
exchange for the 9:30 clock.

i think.

or something like that.
