Headman Shabalala was one of the founding members of Ladysmith Black
Mambazo, which is a legendary South African singing group that's been
around in one form or another since the 50s (though the first recording
came in 1970).  Headman was killed by an off-duty security guard in 1991.
 The security guard spent three months on house arrest.  That's it. 
Boom.  Hello, Apartheid.  A lot has changed in SA this decade.  

You know LBM from their work as the backing band for Paul Simon's
Graceland album.

Think how much shit woulda hit the fan if Paul Simon had been shot.  

Thus, the question.  As posed by Gene Eugene on the Adam Again album
