You've *never* played red rover?  Ever?

Okay, half the group lines up one side of the field with arms locked.
The other half of the group lines up in opposition, arms locked.
Then the teams take turns shouting "Red rover, red rover send
<insert name> on over".

At this point, <insert name> breaks away from his own line and
rushes the opposing line, with the intent of breaking through their chain.
If he succeeds, he gets to take one of them back with him, thereby
shrinking the enemy's chain.  If he fails (and usually he does), he gets 
clotheslined and, after he has regained consciousness, must join
the enemy team.  First team to disappear altogether loses.
