jeff bird's name is jeff bird
hi.
sitting in at the Cincinnati show was Jeff Bird. i mention this only
because the other 2 posts i've seen about the Cincy gig had "forgotten" his
name. he shook good rattles and kept up with the band on the jam when he
was hearing the song for the first time. if you've been to the
www.cowboyjunkies.com site (one of my favourite pages in all webdom is
right there.) you'll see that Margo and the band have really good things to
say about Jeff.
What a pleasure meeting a whole busload of losties and lostie tagalongs.
that was fun! hope the pix turn out, hope the videotape turns out, hope
the DAT turns out. hope everyone gets back home alright, safe and sound and
cheerful. (Cheerful, Jessyka, cheerful. i think you know what i mean,
but i'm a little fearful of this.)
niki rocks. (we met niki's mom!)
did anybody take notes, setlists etc? i didn't ~see~ any scribbling,
but i did see Jan get up and start for the stage after Karin introduced Dave
Labrurye (sp?) as "cute and single". i think Fran held her back.
Dearly Beloved wants me to thank Karin for the Tshirts, so "Thanks, Karin.
You rock! Monica's happy!"
Poor Bruce's forehead may be black and blue today!
