Welp, here's some more details.
PROJECT SCOPE
Album of Over the Rhine covers; proceeds donated to charity of band's choice
(not yet discussed with the band, but we'll take that as it comes).
Permissions/clearances to be handled by me (Bruce Lachey).
PROJECT PARTICIPANTS
I'm working up a spreadsheet to clear this up. I hope this comes across in
an e-mail. I have a feeling it won't. I've attached a low-grade (Excel
3.0, file named otr3.xls) spreadsheet of it, so hopefully everyone can read
it. Please fill in any holes if ya want and return them in a private e-mail
to me (b_lachey at hotmail_com)
We have a varied bunch: at least six of the potential contributers have
released CDs, some have never stepped foot in a studio or anything of the
like. Should make for interesting interpretations...
Amy (Romania) will be working on the art for the project primarily. I'm
hoping to get list member Lynzi to write something for the insert.
TIMING
If you need assistance with getting in a studio, getting instrumentalists,
etc., let me know. We'll try to work something out.
Let's aim to have DATs or CD or some other professional format submitted to
me in three and a half months (end of September).
Hmm. This is brief, but it's a start. E-mail me with questions. I'm sure
there'll be tons.
