I'm not too young to remember Real Genius, although I did see it on video
the first time I saw it.  I'm too young to remember "Terms of Endearment."
Video widened the window of opportunity for movies in the 80's-- I was
among the first to take advantage of the ability to name-check a wider
pop-culture reference.   After video, no one can say, "I was too young to
catch that-- by the time I was old enough, it was out of the theaters..."
