YIPPIEEE !!!! finally a Chicago show - so even with my pre-wedding
non-budget I can finally hear OTR this year! And maybe FINALLY meet some
listees!!!!!

Fave Phil Collins Song - oddly enough, probably Driving The Last Spike, or
maybe it's just contrast to the rest of the album being a bit sucky. I
loved his work in High School, but after he got over his divorce and I got
over teenage angst he started to go downhill. I remember listening to Face
Value incessantly and now can't remember a single song off it. My fiancee
keeps Invisible Touch in her car, and nothing works better with the windows
down on the tollway going 80 plus at high volume.

REM, if second hand information serves, deliberately made unintelligible
lyrics on early albums because Stipes used to read a lot into other
people's songs and later found out they were about dogs and such. I did a
parody of this style at the time, but the only bit I can remember from it
is "So weeeeeeee... sure/ And Iiiiiiiiiii... lawn furniture".

Someone mentioned 16 Horsepower - excellent. I just picked up Low Estate
last week. I have the self title, but missed something in between. I saw
them open for Innocence Mission and was hooked right away.
