i took two years of russian in high school and one year in college, and
have a similar story.

the russian word for 'window' is pronounced 'okno', and to say 'through' or
'over' something you add the 'f' or 'v' sound in front... so, to say
'through the window' sounds like 'f**k no'. to make a long story short,
whenever my high school russian teacher thought she was loosing us, she'd
ask someone to say 'through the window', to which the entire class would
respond, 'f**k no!'  ah, high school...

does anyone have a current count on listies attending the sunday show? so
far, i have jnf, znf, eric, chris, ysobelle... i know i'm missing quite a
few...
