I'm psyched about Canal Street!!

Re: Swim Taxi/Damian/geniusheis' Lilac Time/Duffy suggestion: Stephen
Duffy was the original singer for popular pop band from Birmingham
England, and rumour has it that he co-wrote their third UK single, and
one of their earliest hits (Girls on Film).

For some reason I only rarely ever listen to unattractive bands, so
here's my current "list" as it were: Karin Bergquist (any know her?),
Emm Gryner (same question), Live drummer Chad Gracey, Brian Kelley (can
this guy take a bad picture?), and Ms. Jackson (if I'm nasty).

Roxy music kicks such ass. I know it's unpopular to say your favorite
album is the most popular one by an artist, but "Avalon" is amazing.
Brian's a lyrical gangsta and a suave one at that. I have a nice medley
of "Take a Chance with Me" and "Mamouna" in my head that would make a
good piece of music.
