Set on Edge -->

[Delurk]

1.) It looks like I was able to get a few days more vacation time than
I had formerly thought possible this year, so, yet again, I will be at
Over the Rhine's Emory Theatre Christmas show, though only for the 2nd
date, on the 19th. If anyone on here is an old friend (I know there are
some folks that I ONLY see at the Christmas shows!), or would like to
be, I'll be driving up from Athens, GA, directly to Kaldi's, and will be
hanging around w/ other Ohio friends, drinking spiked coffee's and
talkin' 'bout God, music, and life in general. I'm so excited; this'll
be my 4th Christmas in a row, and about my umpteenth show (I've seen
every show I could make it to since late '92, but it's harder to catch
them now that I'm in Georgia instead of Ohio).

2.) I recently released a 2nd c.d. under the moniker of Set on Edge
called "Sod Pottage". Though we sound virtually nothing like them, my 3
favorite artists are Over the Rhine, Vigilantes of Love, and Bruce
Cockburn. Anyway -- sound clips, for anyone who might be interested,
are available at this GREAT little site by Broken Records. If you've
the time and patience, drop in and give it a listen. We'll be beginning
our first really PROFESSIONAL full-length on the 12th of December at
Full Moon Studio w/ Mike Lewis (who's worked w/ Sugar, R.E.M., and
Vigilantes of Love, among others), and we're REALLY excited about it.
the Broken records page is at;

3.) Alister McGrath --> he's my current favorite theological writer,
and just thought I should pass the name along in case anyone at all is
interested in these sorts of things. "Studies in Doctrine" is a great
book to begin with.

I pray all is well...amen and Amen!
