I noticed at CStone this year (virtually the only place I get to see OtR
play live) that the band had switched from Linford doing most of the talking
between most of the songs to Karin doing nearly all the talking. I think
it's another indication of the band's move to a more pop direction. Ask any
image consultant and they will tell you it's less confusing for your
audience if the front person for the group does all the talking during a
concert. And since Karin is front and center, it makes sense that she would
make the most contact with the assembled masses. I do miss linford's wry
commentary on the music. But Karin's voice is so pleasing to listen to,
whether she's singing or talking.
