i'm confused about 'passion'

something I didn't understand...

why the hell does that tyrannosaurus rex bite Peter's
head off in the Garden of Gethsemane?  i thought he
was supposed to make an appearance at the fashion
show in Act IV (Peter, not the T-Rex).

oh, and, the dialect of Korean used in that scene was
striking.  it moved me to tears.  T-Rex or not.
