I'm all for town meetings, but what's with the flame war? We have an email 
list. It's a bit quirky, but I've heard no official announcement that it's 
about to be shut down unless people sign a "I hate forums" petition. We also 
have a forum. It's unofficial, but it's there and I've heard no official 
announcement that it's going to be excommunicated unless people post to the 
"I hate email lists" thread.

Maybe Hotmail swallowed that official email from K&L (mm, Hotmail hungry). 
If not, ease up. Count to 10, go sit in the corner, step outside into the 
fresh freezing air. All this fragging is the best reason yet not to 
participate anywhere. Yeesh.

So, um, anyone watching this go-round of American Idol? What do you think of 
Simon's whole "I criticize to give people a reality check," considering some 
of the singers who've taken their shot?
