Hi all....Newbie/lurker here on the list. Here are some thoughts on
Christmas music:
Favorite rendition of Little Drummer Boy is on A Very Special Christmas,
performed by Bob Segar. About the only other high-light is Stevie Nicks
singing Silent Night. Other than those 2 songs, the rest of it is
cheesy pop (think Bryan Adams, Bon Jovi, Pointer Sisters....80's hay-day
fluff).
Michael W Smith: Christmas. Outstanding. One of my favorite Christmas
CDs of all time. Beautiful.
Lastly, Starbuck's normally have great compilation Christmas CDs. I
have 2 or 3 of them and they range from Ella Fitzgerald, Louis
Armstrong, Cocteau Twins, Diana Krall....all over the board (just like
me). Hope this helps.
happy holidays all
Russ
