Mr P. Opus returns on November 23rd to a Funnies Page near you.

This may not be the Event that it is for me.  But I actually learned about
Watergate and Iran-Contra from the feet of Uncle Gary and Uncle Berke; for
this little geek, it was Doonesbury and Bloom County that taught me
the beginnings of my understandings of poli sci and modern history.

It is these two that are to blame for the fact that whenever something
trivially unfortunate happens to me, the first thing from my lips tends to
be, "I blame Congress."

The thought of Bloom County and Boondocks on the same comic page fills me
with - well - quiet, manic, fan-boy glee.
