that its so sad, all i can say is enjoy your time together, i had a rabbit who was 6 when he got sick, he then lived for 6 months before dying, i believe it doesnt matter how sick they are, if the animal knows you love it then it will fight as much as it can to say alive.

it sounds dumb but i always said to my rabbit that we will go together. he died when i went away on a holiday, he stayed with my mum and sister. to him i think he thought i left, so he went too, i was only gone 3 days when he died, and in the last month before i left he had been improving.
