Free OtR Show in Nashville this Sunday

Over the Rhine will be performing at a small arts festival this Sunday, March
9, 2003, in Nashville at 3:30pm. The length of the performance will be 45
minutes to an hour. Admission is free and open to everyone.

The event is at the Downtown Presbyterian Church, corner of 5th and Church
Streets, in downtown Nashville, just a few blocks from Ryman Auditorium.

The festival starts at 12 noon on Sunday and is open to the public. Again,
Over the Rhine performs at 3:30pm.

Saturday evening, March 8th, at the church, there is a presentation by David
Dark at 7pm, with a film (Koyanisqatsi) (sp?) following. David Dark has
recently written a book called _Everyday Apocalypse_, and is one of the few
authors on the scene who can intelligently reference Beck and John Donne in
the same sentence. His prose is vigorous and unbridled, and he has thought
deeply about present day culture. Anybody who can devote separate chapters to
Radiohead, The Simpsons, Flannery O'Connor and the Coen Brothers has
obviously been paying attention. Highly recommended.
