Re: There, and Back again.

lynz harnish asked....
out of curiousity, what kind of poetry are the fans of
otr fond of? anyone found a poem profound enough they
keep it in plain sight?

what about quotes? we've enjoyed the otr quote of the
week for several months now...what are some of yours.

to which i must respond....on my computer monitor i have taped a piece of a
song by bruce cockburn. it reminds me of one of my very favorite
books...sophie's world..by jostein gaarder. and so it goes...

we're the insect life of paradise:
crawl across leaf
or among towering blades of grass-
glimpse only sometimes
the amazing breadth of heaven.

since my father's death this spring...i long to drink in more than a
glimpse...i long to see what he sees. i long to hold his hand as i gaze
into truth. i long to truly see what can be...what will be.

feeling pretty low...
