Re: slouching toward fargo (was wildflowers)

hello barry and anyone else intrested in a fun read,

i thought 'slouching' was intresting. i agree that
bill murray was suprising. i love that the book was
originally meant for a rolling stone article to tear
murray to shreds. what a turn of events. much like
the team and it's players. the strawberry saga was
great...it was cool to see the behind the scenes of it
all. the first time he talks with the massage-giving
beer-drinking nun before a game was a hilarious laugh
out loud moment. however, i did lose some interest
towards the end of the book. i think i fell in love
with the players of the first season so, that i
couldn't work up more heart for the first female
pitcher and what came after. anyway...those are my
thoughts.
