Hello everyone;
I need help rather quickly. I am hoping to record the Canal Street concert (Sat. night show), as well as the Buddy & Julie Miller/Patty Griffin concert in Louisville on Sun. I have a recordable minidisc player (Sony MZ-R55), but no Mic yet. I want to get a good microphone, but I can't spend something like $500 on one. (More like less than $200, and in order to get it by next Sat., I should order ASAP).
I don't know much about all this Mic stuff, and even after reading the info on the webpages, I feel like I should check with someone who's done this before.
I need a mic that will be versatile for different recording situations (small bars like Canal Street, as well as larger places such as the place where Buddy/Julie/Patty concert).
Here are two that I'm considering:

Sound Pros LARGE Otter Box Binaural mics (I really like this "box" idea)
There are also a lot of selections on the following webpage, directly from the company (Sound Pros), and there is a discount. Anything here that would be better than the last two?
