I *love* the new Beth Orton. my favourite songs are Paris Train and Mount
Washington. The string section just kills me. and the lyrics are neat.

"Stars racing to burn out, a storm waiting to break, the trees stand black
against the sky. this was inevitable."

she's been known to go from folk, to flat out country. theres even a trip
hop song on this disc. I hear her live show is incredible.
