Ah, that's what I love about you guys, you listen to everything...I'm
surprised anyone has heard of Spock's Beard, no one I've ever met outside
of prog rock communities has heard them, but they really did change the way
I thought about music...I'll tell that story sometime...but they do have a
new album coming out August 27th called "Snow," it's a double CD,
120-minute concept album opus, and I was able to hear the whole thing a few
weeks ago and it's definately the most amazing album I've heard all
year...check it out..,
Who is Vanessa Carlton? Is she that girl that has that cheesy pop song
where she's on a truck or something playing piano? And has that chorus
with that string part that just reminds me of that Annie Lennox song? I
dont know, I get all these generic singer/songwriters confused these days,
it's all sounding the same to me. Between Beth Orton and Norah Jones, my
standards for female singers have just gone way up recently...
That all being said, I think the only food left in my apartment right now
is some stale donuts...breakfast of champions...errr...students. :-/
