Just a quickie for the listees:
As far as the horse, we're talking horse: ears finely cut, tail dusting the
ground, eyes well apart and full of fire. I know, I know, a tribute album and
a race horse all in one year. Times are good.
As far as Jack, unless something changes, he'll be playing at Cornerstone
with us (along with Wade Jaynes and Dale Baker). And Jack will be joining us
for Europe, the southern September shows, and for the Christmas tour.
Thanks God for aeroplanes.
The move to Scotland was largely for Finn, Jack and Hazel's son: there was
the issue of the accent for starters, Norwood vs Glasgow. And he can be
closer to grandparents. Plus, it has been a dream of Jack's to buy a house in
Scotland. He was born in the Scottish town of Dumferline.
