Intimacy (Painfully Off-Topic)

Peter T. Chattaway did chat away-

"I think my personal favorite may be the ad for the facing
double-toilets, built for couples who want to share one of the truly
most intimate (or private) human experiences"

I recall some advice given in an article by participants in long
successful marriages about keeping the bathroom door shut, so maybe that
can be viewed as an opportunity for keeping some mystery alive in the
relationship.

"one of the all-time classics, going back to the '70s, has to be the ad
for the car that drives so smoothly that a rabbi can perform a
circumcision in the back seat and not hurt anyone."

I'm not smart enough to spell it, but the ritual circumcision, or briss
(sp?) of eight day old males is performed by a moyle (sp?). Ouch! BTW
<moyl.com> has a nice online schedule maker for the 2002 Cornerstone
Festival,

There are many groups opposed to the near universality of the practice,
in the United States, on gentiles, because of both the trauma, and the
removed choice, i.e., "You want a piece of me?"

Mr. Chattaway, that was a double barrelled shot of intimate weirdness.

"If music be the food of love, play on."
