i know it might be difficult, but try, if you will, to
remember life before the spice girls and backstreet
boys...they were all the rage in germany while i was
there in 97.  after several months enduring endless
play i gave in and came home only to have the same
thing happen -- several more months of endless
airtime...i may never know how much i prematurely aged
that year.
