Our very own Jesse Eubanks

You all should REALLY check out Jesse's new one, "Meditation,
Contemplation and Prayer." (the unshaven musician at the show yesterday
who's cover "Miles" has smitten Karin...)

As quoted from his site by Brent Diaz,

"Every once in a while, it's good to come across a cd that will challenge
and inspire me, both musically and in my faith. I can now confidently add
Jesse Eubanks new cd to my short list of works that are indeed creative in
concept, and meaningful in words, and true to the artistic and conceptual
aesthetic the artist strives for. In short, the cd is MORE than just a cd...
Inside the book is a detailed account of how the project came together, with
thoughtful information provided by Eubanks as to the creative process. The
book also contains lyrics, some stories of people who have inspired and
encouraged Eubanks in meditation and contemplative prayer. Also included
are several passages of prayers and poetry from artists as well as
traditional sources such as a book of anglican prayers... "meditations..."
is full of droned-out, reverbed guitars, with occasional etheral and
passionate vocals floating lightly over the drone... Beautiful, adventurous
and oh so sensitive, "meditations..." will be in my player for a long
time... and it already is a cd that challenges me to seek God with an added
fervency.

For fans of: charity empressa, yellow 6, the prayer chain, gregorian chants,
in a lonely place (in some songs)"

You can read more of this wonderfl review on his website,
www.jesseeubanks.homstead.com or order any of his CD's on this site. Others
include his "Pull the Stars" and "Libereme" EP's. All excellent and
wonderful additions to anyone's collection striving to seek God in a deeper
more meaningful way. I highly recommend them all... especially if you are
like me and are curious to check out new music... I met Jesse on the list
and ordered a CD, now I'm forever hooked! He's an amazing writer, poet and
songwritter with a true hunger for the things of God.

He's even recently been approached by Eric Campuzano (Prayer Chain, Lassie
Foundation and Cush) making a proposition that the two of them record an
album together! (If that doesn't get your attention to check him out, your
crazy!!!!!)

Check this guy out, he's simply amazing!!!!!!!!

Keisha
