thank you.  and it really is horrible, i agree with
liesel.  i must know 18 billion verb tenses (including
kelvin's subjunctive), but my speech has become so
dummied down over the past few years that i actually
HEAR myself and i cringe.  i say "dude" constantly. 
the worst is explaining something to one of my
co-workers by prefacing it with "s'like" (meaning
"it's like").  like, i can't even say "like" correctly
anymore.  

something is wrong with me.  very, very wrong.
