two kids with whom i went to grammar school were
fooling around, literally jousting in the hall one
afternoon with broomsticks. (no, it's not going
there, relax). but they had each lost an eye in early
childhood. the teacher, who is a good family friend
of mine, naturally yelled at them, saying, "what do
you want to do, knock each other eyes out?" they
turned and laughed at her, of course.

and bruce willis went to my rival high school.
