_Annie Hall_, still probably the best-known Woody Allen movie.  It was the
last of his films to consist of little more than a string of gags, and it
was also, paradoxically, the first of his films to tell a serious,
emotionally moving story.  It's not my personal favorite of his films
(that would be _The Purple Rose of Cairo_), but it's up there.
