rhys shared her story about her grandfather, which is very poignant.

be glad you can see him.  i lost my grandmother once.  the last time i saw 
her was probably a few weeks before.  the only thing that made me feel ok 
about that was how happy she was that i had finally cut my hair...

she hated long hair.

i think that is ridiculous!  how can a place possibly deny a person the 
pleasure of having music?!  as a music therapy major, and indeed, as a music 
lover, i can definitely say that i would be very offended if someone told me 
i could not listen to music.  :(

i was at work when i found out that my grandmother died.  somehow life just 
seemed so inane at that moment.
