Liesel, you know what Larry the Cucumber has taught me more than
anything?
Sometimes a cucumber _is_ just a cucumber. Sometimes it isn't, but
sometimes a cucumber is just a cucumber that sings about Santa,
hairbrushes, and High Silk Hats. And we are a better world for it.
Same thing with the Rubber Duckie song. I have a friend who takes great
pleasure in explaining the homoerotic undertones of that song, and you
know, I just don't care if Ernie is really singing about anything else,
because I, too, have enjoyed rubber duckies in my tubbie-tub.
In fact, we have a rubber duckie spigot on our bathtub. And it's cute!
