Quite so.  But it is *not* arrogant to think that God can see things from
*our* perspective, since he made us and all.  He *knows* how things will
look to us, so if he cares how he comes across, he knows what to do.

Whatever those words mean.  If these words mean nothing more than "just
like God", then obviously, only God is just like God.  But if they mean
something else ... well, then, what *do* these words mean?

More words we could spend an eternity unpacking, if we wanted to.  :)

Depending on what you make of verses like the one where God says he loves
Jacob but hates Esau, etc.
