here are my top of 2001:

1. Tool _Lateralus_
2. Radiohead _Amnesiac_
3. Jude _King of Yesterday_
4. Incubus _Morning View_
5. Ani Difranco _Revelling/Reckoning_

i know, i know... honorable mention... Over the
Rhine (damn close- held on most of the year),
King's X, Bjork, Ben Folds, Remy Zero, Travis,
Tenacious D, Fear Factory, Kevin Max Smith,
Fantomas, Poundhound, Tori Amos, Vigilantes of
Love, Glen Phillips, Lapdog, Puya, Sevendust...

still to come in 2001 that won't make the top5,
but will be in the honorable mention (i am sure):
Monk and Katie Reider.

coming in 2002: Jurassic 5, Radiohead, Tori Amos,
Jelly Jam, Dream Theater, A Perfect Circle, Elliott
Smith, Alanis Morissette, Chroma Key.
