But...

Since Friday *is* a weekday, that makes it hard to plan for anything on that
night since your *day* was spent doing week type things--hence comes the
label "weeknight"  Unless there are some published guidelines out there
somewhere telling us that after a certain hour, the weekend night has
officially started, I would have to go with Friday being a "weekday
night"--now Saturday and Sunday are different stories.
