Re: the question of Over the Rhine videos . . . 

There could be really, really bad over the rhine videos.  Like a "Latter
Days" video where a yuppie couple, or a coupla Eddie Bauer youth group
kids (even better/worse), walk around listlessly on a beach, and once in
a while, during an instrumental section, you'd hear them speak to each
other.  "What are we gonna do?"  "It's time to be strong, Billy."  Like
that.  That would be bad.  And speaking of that, isn't it always bad when
you hear people in the video speaking over the song, especially if it's a
sad/melancholy song?

But what I really wanted to say is that if anyone could direct a good
Over the Rhine video, Wim Wenders could.  And David Fincher could do
"Murder."  And it's all about bringing the right minds together, I think.
