praise & worship albums (alanis, james taylor, jars, 6pence, caedmon's)

some of the few ones that i have that i enjoy...

Various Artists _The Prayer Cycle_ (Sony Classical,
1999) Alanis Morissette, James Taylor, conductor
John Williams, Linda Ronstadt, Salif Keita) not
a traditional churchy worship album... but WHOA!
very worshipful to whomever you care to direct
the worship. this is really a must listen.
even if you *think* there is a problem because
it's not *designated* as a worship album for
the traditional view of the Christian God.
i think it's the most beautiful worship album
out there, period. it's multi-functional, too.
don't let ones' fundamentalism get in the way of
   worshipping.

Various Artists _City on a Hill_ (Essential Records,
2000) Sixpence None the Richer, Jars of Clay,
Third Day, Choir, FFH, Caedmon's Call...) it's
got some nice worship songs on it... i bought
it used, which was a good price point...

Caedmon's Call _In the Company of Angels_ (Essential
Records, 2001) all originals (by the band, other
folksters, and Rich Mullins). nice change of
pace for them. as stated by myself and others
before... i wish that there were more Derek Webb
   songs on it, though...

lord only knows,
Dan
